So, I wanted to share a bit about a Hindu Goddess that I've been introduced to recently. Most of us know that there are so many gods and goddesses in the Hindu faith; and some are more well known than others of course. Parvati is one that I wasn't very familiar with before... and now that I am I thought it best to share some knowledge!
Parvati is a Hindu goddess of fertility and divine strength and power. She is actually an aspect of Shakti in that she is the gentle and nurturing part. Her husband was Shiva and more importantly to me, one of her children is Ganesha, a deity that I work with. (Ganesha has the head of an elephant). Parvati is said to be the supreme power of the universe. Parvati is shown with her hands in the form of a mudra that signifies FEARLESSNESS. This is the quality that I aspire to take on! Do you have one of these necklaces? And if you do, did you know the meaning behind it?
I share some qualities with Parvati in that I too am nurturing; as most mothers are; particularly to my children. In the Hindu stories, Ganesha’s mother ordered that he be given a new head when his was chopped off by Shiva. She would not let her son die. Parvati is nourishing and protective. She blocked her husband (Shiva’s) throat so that poison could not be swallowed, showing her devotion to her family and those she loves and holds dear. She knows no limits when she is reaching for her goal. She doesn’t let anything stand in her way; thus the fearlessness.
Shakti is the pure, untamed energy that flows. It is the female principle of divine energy and this energy is manifested in several Hindu goddesses. Shakti is like the “mother of all goddesses”. Parvati represents one aspect of that energy in its nurturing and giving form.
What aspects of Parvati resonate with you? How are you manifesting those qualities in your day to day life?

Ho'oponopono to you too!
Ho'oponopono- it sounds funny rolling off the western tongue. This is actually a Hawaiian word with profound meaning. It is about forgiveness at its core. Forgiveness of others and forgiveness of self in order to heal and move forward. Basically, a mental cleansing of sorts.
In the simplest form, Ho'oponopono is practiced in just four easy steps.
"I'm Sorry" ~ The first step is to identify a problem or issue that you're dealing with. Acknowledge that it is an issue. Accept that it is an issue. Don't rationalize it or make excuses for it. Simply put, acknowledge it and apologize for it. Who are you apologizing to exactly? Well, that's the thing, you put it out to the universe; to the divine. Say it out loud with meaning and emotion behind it.
"Please forgive me" ~ Once you've identified the issue you are going to work on and expressed remorse in the first step; the next step is to ask forgiveness. This is done by asking out loud, once again, with sincerity and a true heart. Put it out into the universe or into your prayer by asking the universe, the divine, your God or your Goddess to 'please forgive me".
"Thank you" ~ You've recognized and accepted the issue, expressed remorse and sought forgiveness. The third step is to express gratitude! Know that you are forgiven and show the universe that you are grateful for that forgiveness.
"I love you" ~ Say I love you. Say it out loud. Who are you saying it to? You say it to the universe, to your God or to the divine. It doesn't matter who you are saying it to, just say it! Put it out there!
Using this process will help you to self-heal in so many ways. Several years ago, I experienced a great deal of guilt at not being able to financially support my adult children in the way that I had been. It was an abrupt change when it came and probably affected me more than it did them in retrospect. I used the mantra of Ho'oponopono several times a day during that time, focusing on each of them individually as I was saying it. It wasn't very long before the guilt I was feeling subsided and I was able to move forward. Think of this as a "clearing" of your mental and emotional baggage.
You may be asking yourself, how can this work when you are just saying these things into the universe and not directly to the person? Well, remember that what happens on a spiritual level can manifest on a physical level. Hermes Trismegistus said "As below, so above and as above, so below". Most spiritual paths recognize this basic premise, including the Abrahamic religions. The bible verse that comes to mind is Matthew 18:18 which states "...whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven".
Now that isn't to say that you can't say these words directly to a particular person. In fact, I suspect using them in face to face conversations will allow for even greater healing of not only yourself but also your relationship with the person involved.
Have you had the opportunity to use the principles of Ho'oponopono in your life? Please share your experiences! If not, do you feel like this is something that you can easily implement?

Lets Talk About Citrine ~ The Stone of Success
I have to admit, I have a few pieces of this remarkable stone! I love it and use it frequently! Citrine comes in a yellowish color and can be found in a polished form, rough and cluster. It is actually form of quartz.
Citrine is often called the merchants stone because it is said to be especially good for success and money issues; and as such this is what I primarily use mine for! In feng shui, it can be placed in the "wealth corner" of your home or business to attract money and success. We can put a piece in our wallets or purse, and even in the cash register if you own a business.
But this stone has many more uses other than abundance, prosperity, success and finance! It can also be used to increase your intuition and mental clarity for example. This stone can help with emotional healing as it decreases negative thoughts and helps to improve our sense of well-being.
It is said that Citrine will not absorb negative energies; and yet it is ideal for eliminating negative energies. It can help those who have lower self esteem or those that need to increase their self-love. Do you doubt yourself? Or just feeling like you are unloved? Try meditating with a piece of Citrine.
Because this is a stone to remove negative crud in our lives, it can also be extremely beneficial for someone dealing with addictions of any type. I think in situations to eliminate the addiction, it might have some beneficial properties by placing in under the pillow when sleeping or wearing in the form of a necklace.
Since Citrine is a yellow colored stone, it is also used in chakra healing and is most suitable for the solar plexus chakra. This chakra focuses on your creativity and sense of self.
One way to use Citrine for healing would be to meditate with it. You can place the stone directly on the area of your body for the solar plexus chakra, or even just hold it in your dominant hand as you meditate. Another way you can bring this crystal into your life is by wearing it in the form of jewelry; such as a pendant on a necklace.
Have you ever worked with Citrine? If so, please share your favorite ways to use it in the comments below! Also, share your successes with this gorgeous stone!

Merkaba Crystals ~ More Sacred Geometry
What is a merkaba crystal? Well, merkaba, which can also be spelled "merkabah", is a crystal in a specific shape that allows one to connect to spirit at a higher level. The word merkaba can be broken up as such:
mer= light
ka= spirit
ba= body
Thus, merkaba can connect the spirit and the body. It is also called a Star Tetrahedron or a double tetrahedron. It is formed into a three dimensional star of David. The merkaba is not something new or a "new age fad". In fact, it has been mentioned in many religious texts and holy books and was known to ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians and the Mayans. This is some old school, ancient knowledge here!
"The Merkaba is a counter-rotating field of light generated from the spinning of specific geometric forms that simultaneously affects one's spirit and body" Mountain Valley Center
This merkaba energy also spins around our physical bodies, although in many people it may not be fully activated; or spinning as fast as it should! Using the merkaba crystals can help to activate the merkaba energy that surrounds you. (Think of this like a spinning galaxy surrounding your person).
The merkaba crystal is said by some to be a compilation of each of the five platonic solids that I previously discussed in the geometric crystal set. It looks sort of like a star shape in 3-D. Using this type of crystal can allow you to become more connected with "you" and with your higher self and the divine. It can allow us to change our understanding and reach higher levels of consciousness. This includes being able to see our own limitations.
The merkaba crystal emits energy spirals. As such, it can be used in meditation to expand your awareness and further access the divine. As a healer, you can place an intention into the merkaba crystal and either use it in a healing session with a client or give it directly to your client. If you happen to find one that is a pendant, you can wear this and have the merkaba energy surrounding you throughout your day.
Having and using a merkaba crystal can have slightly different effects depending on the type of crystal or stone it is made from. For example, a bloodstone merkaba crystal might be more useful for healing needs; whereas a quartz crystal merkaba may help with connecting with the divine. Using crystals that correspond with the different chakras would prove beneficial for those particular chakras. A green stone in the form of a merkaba would be highly useful in dealing with matters related to the heart chakra. Amethyst merkaba would help with matters related to the higher chakras which help us to open our third eye and increase our intuition.
Do you have a merkaba crystal? I would love to hear your experiences with using this crystal in your meditations or healing modalities! Please share in the comments section below!

Sacred Geometry and the Geometric Crystals Set
Sacred geometry.... what is that? Sacred Geometry consists of the beliefs of various cultures surrounding
the different shapes in our world. These shapes are the fundamental building blocks of our
world. In this post we'll get an overview of the five platonic solids that exist; which is only a part of sacred geometry. These five platonic solids can be obtained in crystal form and used for a variety of purposes.
“There are five Platonic Solids: Cube, Icosadedron,
Tetrahedron, Octahedron and Dodecahedron. Each one is a polyhedron, which is a
3-dimensional shape with flat faces. The faces are congruent, regular polygons
with the same number of faces meeting at each vertex (corner). The Greek Plato, in his Timaeus c. 350 B.C.E., equated the five
Solids with the five Elements: The Cube with Earth, the Icosahedron with Water,
the Tetrahedron with the Fire, the Octahedron with Air, and the Dodecahedron
with the stuff of which the constellations and heavens were made, Ether
(etheric).”
Sacred geometry is a complex and organized structure which
offers a high vibration level. Using the sacred geometry crystals on various
areas of your body or in your life can open up higher levels of awareness and
inner wisdom.
This article explains how even though we are not able to see
these things, they often have a very powerful effect on our lives as they have in the authors life. https://www.anasatara.org/sacred-geometry/sacred-geometry-in-healing-awakening
Each shape has its own meaning and can be used for something
different. As sphere makes energy flow, an octahedron can manifest things,
just to name one.
Also, depending upon which type of crystal the shape is
made from (clear quartz, rose quartz, etc.), it will take on those qualities as well. Each shape is related to and corresponds to a chakra and
you will see how they complement each other.
So lets go through these five shapes and get a brief overview of the qualities each possesses and what sort of things they can be used for in your personal life.
The hexahedron is the cube one. This is related to the root chakra and the earth element. You'll find that this shape is especially good for grounding and at the same time raising your vibration.
Icosahedron is representative of water. This shape is good for enhancing
creative thoughts and unblocking some of that "stuff" that often holds us back. It is related to the sacral chakra.
The tetrahedrid is the pyramid shaped one. It’s the fire
element and the solar plexus chakra. It’s good for personal power and
acceptance. It is also good for directing energy away from you or bringing
energy towards you. This is ideal if you are trying to bring energies to you to manifest something or if you are trying to eliminate some of the negative crud from your life, mind and spirit.
The Octahedron represents the element of air and is
related to the heart chakra. It is similar to a crystal with a double
terminated point so it can direct energy in two directions. Good for
forgiveness, closure and emotional healing. It can help you to be more
compassionate in your everyday life.
The Dodecahedron represents the element of spirit or
ether and relates to the higher chakras (Third eye and Crown chakras). Good for
raising your vibration, meditation, letting go of ego, and accessing your
higher self. This would be especially useful during meditations to open up your third eye chakra and when you are working on your spirituality.
Putting one of these shapes in the form of a crystal into your
pitcher of water (provided the particular crystal is able to be submerged) will
infuse those particular qualities into your body and allow them to really reach
you at the cellular level.
Here is a fantastic and informative web site although I think it is meant
for children… If you look to the right hand side, you’ll see a list of topics.
You can click on each one under “metaphysical” for even more options on how to
use each shape. http://www.crystalwind.ca/eureka-amazing/meta-science/sacred-geometry
Aside from using these very special crystals to meditate with and to infuse your drinking water; what are some other ways that you might use these crystals?

Reiki Your Plants, Your Car, Reiki Anything!!!
The most common method of Reiki that the general public knows about is of course the traditional Reiki treatment that humans get while laying on a massage table. Some may even be aware of Distance Healing Reiki which they can get from afar. But what many are not aware of is that Reiki can be used for virtually anything. A few weeks ago we discussed using Reiki on our pets and other animals; but did you know that you can use Reiki healing energy on your plants? Or how about sending some Reiki to your car when it's acting up?
These ideas may seem a bit "out there" to some; but to many Reiki practitioners this is absolutely "normal" and not only that, but EFFECTIVE! There have been experiments done in which one set of plants was given Reiki energy daily while the second set was not given any. The results of those studies showed that the plants who received Reiki had better growth, stronger root systems and were able to grow taller. Reiki can be used on the seeds you use in your garden, on the soil that you are planting in and even the water that you are providing for your plants. Taking some time to send some healing Reiki energy to your potted plants in your home as well as your garden plants will undoubtedly result in stronger, more fruitful plants! Plants are living organisms and as such they welcome that positive energy and healing.
So, it can be easy to see why a plant would respond to Reiki. After all, they are living organisms, right? So, how then is it possible that Reiki healing energy can cause any effect on an inanimate object like your car? It does. How do you use Reiki with your car... or any other inanimate object for that matter? Well, lets start with the car as our example. You can send Reiki energy through the steering wheel to help keep your car running smoothly. You can use the Reiki symbols (taught in Reiki level 2 courses) to keep your car protected both while you are NOT in it and while you are driving. On several occasions, when I was driving my older car that was in rough shape, I would send Reiki through to the steering wheel which I believed helped that little car to last a lot longer than it did!
If you are already a Reiki practitioner, have you used Reiki on your plants or car? I'd love to hear where you've used Reiki, especially those areas that are "non-traditional"! What were your experiences with it? If you aren't already a Reiki practitioner, or other healing modality, can you think of areas in your life that may benefit from Reiki energy?

Raise your hand if you want to Raise Your VIBRATION!!!!
Raise your vibration! This is something of a buzz word lately. What does it really mean though? Science tells us that everything vibrates at its own vibratory level; much like sound has vibrations. Often times these vibrations may not even be detectable to the human touch. The higher your vibration, the "lighter" you feel. You experience a greater peace.
So, what are some ways we can raise our vibration? Well, thankfully, there are several ways to choose from, so you can find what works best for you!
If you use crystals in your life, you can choose to work with or carry crystals that naturally emit a higher vibratory level. Some of these include Herkimer Diamonds, Merkabite Calcite and Himalayan Ice Quartz.
Music can also help to raise your vibration. Generally speaking, music with upbeat tones will have a higher vibration than those with slower or lower tones. Music in the Solfeggio range, 528 Hz and 432 Hz range will also help to raise your vibration. This type can easily be found on YouTube and is often used as a background sound for meditations and sleep hypnosis tracts.
Exercise (ugh!!!) and most types of physical movement can also raise your vibration. Even something as simple as jumping up and down a few times or dancing to some music at home can be enough to raise that vibration! I'm not a huge fan of the exercise option personally... so I'll opt for some crazy dance moves at home!
Water also has a higher frequency, so being in and around water can be beneficial. Being near a natural body of water can be very uplifting, but we all don't live by the ocean... or even a lake or stream for that matter. So, jump in the shower or take a bath! And of course, DRINK water!!!
Essential oils can help to raise your vibration. Most have a vibratory level of between 50 mHz to 350 mHz. Of course, certain scents are higher than others. Rose essential oil is said to have a rather high vibration.
Check out some of the other Essential Oil frequencies: You'll want to stick with the higher ones of course...above the 60 MHz range, because anything below that is considered a lower vibrational pattern and can be a prime environment for illness to creep in.
Rose (Rosa damascene).....................320 MHz
Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia)........118 MHz
Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha)................105 MHz
Blue Chamomile (Matricaria recutita).....105 MHz
Juniper (Juniperus osteosperma)............98 MHz
Aloes/Sandalwood (Santalum album)......96 MHz
Angelica (Angelica archangelica)...........85 MHz
Peppermint (Mentha peperita)..............78 MHz
Galbanum (Ferula gummosa).................56 MHz
Basil (Ocimum basilicum)......................52 MHz
http://www.biospiritual-energy-healing.com/vibrational-frequency.html
Wearing bright colors can increase your vibration. You could also add some bright color to your living environment... throw pillows, blankets, pictures on the wall, etc. Purple has one of the higher vibrations out of all the colors. But regardless of that, each color can serve a different purpose depending on what area of your life you're working on. Red can be invigorating. Blues and greens can be calming and centering. My favorite color is black.... so it is often a challenge for me to add color to my wardrobe and surroundings! But this is something I work on!
What you eat and put in your body can also raise your vibration. Processed and canned foods generally have Zippo value in raising the vibration. Want to know what WILL raise your vibration? Healthy stuff. Yup. I know, if you love crappy food like I do, you're probably skipping over this section. I get it. Here's a good list of high vibration foods...
Green, leafy stuff....
Fermented stuff... (try to make Zima a Finnish fermented drink. It's actually really good.)
Blue Green Algea... ummmm... yum???
Fresh herbs and spices... this I can probably do.
Raw chocolate.
Sprouts
Medicinal mushrooms. That means Chaga and Reishi type
Berries... THIS I can do!
So, these are some pretty basic ways to raise your vibration that most people can implement in their lives fairly easily. Lets put some of these in practice so that the vibration we are emitting matches the vibration that we want our life to be!

Manifesting the Reality You Want
I am a big believer in the ability to manifest the reality that we want. I've read several books that explain the science of this process and I try to incorporate the principles in my life. (Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Joe Dispenza is my all time favorite!) One of the first steps to this is to realize the detriment that negative thought patterns are bringing to your life. When you constantly tell others and yourself that you are "fat" or "poor" or "not good enough" in any way, you are actually contributing to making those ideas your reality. My significant other will often make comments when we are driving or parking our car. "Have I told you how much I hate this car!" he says. Yeah, I get it. The car is a POS... but.... here's my thought on that: Keep putting it out to the universe in that way and the universe will gladly remove that "hated" car from your life... but that doesn't mean a new one will be coming in its place!!! So, we have to change up that intention that we're putting out there. "I'm grateful for this car and I have an amazing mode of transportation!"
But, it's important to know this little tidbit of info: it's not enough to only put out your positive intentions to the universe! While that is the next step... sure; put positive intentions out there. Speak them. We've got to back that stuff up with something more. And that something more is the emotion that goes along with it. I can say everyday that I have wealth. Just saying it isn't necessarily going to bring it though. If that were the case, almost everyone in the world would be wealthy and thin and have everything they've ever uttered in this life! Nope, we've got to really feel the emotion that comes along with the intention that we are putting out there. That's the more challenging part. Do we love that car? Absolutely not... but much like one of the principles from recovery programs... we need to "fake it till we make it". Put out the positive intentions and keep putting them out until the emotion becomes a reality. It takes a conscious effort to change your emotions to something when they're already pretty deep seeded. But the results that you'll see will astonish you in the long run! What this will also do is to raise your vibration so that it is in line with that which you desire.
One of the final steps to manifesting your reality is to trust in the universe that it will happen. Put aside the "worry". Don't worry about HOW things will manifest. KNOW that they will.
